The warm climate and the warm and wonderful people of Cowichan make this an ideal setting to live.
We recognized it, and you will too, as a most wonderful oceanside retreat.
Construction started in the summer of 2001. Pebbled Beach was designed as our retirement retreat but grew into our dream.
The framers were terrific making sure everything was 'just right'. They referred to the house as a "wood gobbler" but we were lucky to have some of the structural lumber come right from the trees on our property.
Each room is a stone's throw from our beach and designed to take advantage of the spectacular view of Cowichan Bay, a salt water bay on the east side of Vancouver Island.
The sun shone everyday during the construction but it poured rain all day on moving day.
We'll tell you more when you come.
